Screencasts & Content for Social Media

KHL Interactive have just delivered Screencasts & New Media Content to the UK’s leading provider of professional ecommerce and shopping cart software solutions for small and medium sized businesses. The conference focused on the Future of e-Commerce tools and solutions covering areas such as the use of Social Media, using integrated Vouchers and Search Optimisation techniques for online retailers.

The conference was held at Paypal’s UK Headquaters and KHL Interactive provided a range of New Media services. These included:
Screencasts, one-to-one interviews with Clients and Service Providers. Selected elements of the content was re-purposed for the company’s social media channels.

Screencasts are a great way to preserve best practice knowledge not only for those who attend but for those who miss an event. There are many benefits of  re-purposing content, for example: redeploying the same content but packaged for a company’s social channels such as YouTube, Facebook or as part of your Web-based PR releases. Such content can also be useful for planning future events, for example, reviewing past screencasts and recorded footage can reveal areas for further development.

There is also a need to ensure consistent branding and protection of the content developed.
Social channels are great if supported by a Social Media strategy.
For example, for new customers selective insights or copy can be made available to help tempt prospects to learn more about the core services and products available from a company.
